We encourage everyone to dress up in cocktail attire and feel empowered to express yourself. This is a party after all!

From Detroit:

The Lakeside is about a 3 hour drive from the Detroit area. You could also opt to take the Amtrak train to New Buffalo which takes about 4 hours. The stop is about 10 minutes from the Lakeside Inn.

From Chicago:

The Lakeside is a quick hour drive from Chicago, or a few stops on the Amtrak to the New Buffalo station.

From Traverse City:

The Lakeside is about a 3.5 hour drive from Traverse City.

We recommend flying into Chicago O’Hare for the easiest direct flights and most options. From there, you can rent a car, grab the Blue Line to Union Station to catch a train to New Buffalo, or carpool with a buddy. Many friends are flying in, so let us know if you’re coming this way and we can help you find a ride.

Of course! We set up our celebration to feel more like a family gathering than a formal affair. Please come for however long you can. We’re looking forward to lakeside walks, late nights, and lots of laughs with all of you.
